International ORA-research project begins

The new international project, “Facilitating Self-Regulated Learning with Personalized Scaffolds on Student’s own Regulation Activities”—FLoRA (ORA; DFG: BA2044/10-1) begins in February 2019. This three-year project was awarded grants from the Open Research Area (ORA) for the Social Sciences call in October and is among one of 16 international awardees. The project stands out as the only awardee from learning sciences.

Prof. Maria Bannert leads the international collaboration with her team, Dr. Katharina Engelmann and Ms. Kia Puay Lim, M.Ed. and overseas research partners, Dr. Inge Molenaar, Prof. Dragan Gasevic, and Prof. Johanna Moore, and their respective teams. The project begins with a kick-off event at the University of Edinburgh.

We wish Prof. Dr. Bannert, Dr. Engelmann, and Ms. Lim a fulfilling trip to Edinburgh and a great start to the project.
