Daniela Zetti


Guest Lecturer at the Professur für Geschichte der Technik


Daniela Zetti is a historian of technology and science, and is a guest of the Professur für Technikgeschichte throughout the winter semester 2021/22.

She is a post-doc researcher at the Institute for Medical History and Scientific Research (Institut für Medizingeschichte und Wissenschaftsforschung) and at the Ethical Innovation Hub at the University of Lübeck. In her current research she is examining cultural and social history in digital technology, digital sovereignty, and data ethics.

Dr. Zetti was a Research Associate at the Professur für Technikgeschichte at ETH Zürich, and at Collegium Helveticum Zürich. She was also a Fellow of the DFG-Kollegforschergruppe "Media Cultures of Computer Simulation" (MECS) at Leuphana University Lüneburg. She was a guest lecturer at the Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, has taught CAS Applied Economic History at Zürich University, and together with Prof. Gabriele Gramelsberger (RWTH Aachen) is a co-organiser of the IDEA-League Summer Schools "Infrastructures of Science" (2019 + 2022).
